Total Body Activation Class
The TOTAL BODY ACTIVATION CLASS utilizes a form of resistance training involving isometric (static) muscular contractions during which there is a constant and equal FORCE or TENSION placed on the muscle and joints. You will learn how to strategically manipulate mechanical factors at various points of range of motion to alter a resistance and challenge your muscles. Most important, you will learn how to engage muscles properly and effectively so that you can be more mindful during exercise and movement. Through this experience, your body will develop a better neurological connection, intention, and awareness of your muscles and joints promoting healthier motor patterns and movement patterns, thus aiding in recovery, correcting muscular imbalances, and preventing injuries.
